Respiratory Therapist RRT FT Nights

The Respiratory Therapist II provides advanced respiratory care, including medication administration, ventilator management, and patient assessments, primarily in critical care settings.
They perform procedures such as airway management, arterial blood gas analysis, and invasive/non-invasive therapies, while ensuring patient safety and quality care.
The role involves patient and family education, mentoring staff and students, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Required qualifications include an accredited respiratory therapy degree, relevant licenses/certifications (e.g., RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS), and 0-2 years of clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care.
Strong communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and computer skills are essential.
